Meanwhile, Hamilton Township was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 43-39 to Liberty Union. Hamilton Township has struggled against Liberty Union recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Circleville pushed their record up to 14-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Hamilton Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Circleville strolled past Hamilton Township when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 48-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Circleville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
