The River Dell Golden Hawks posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Indian Hills out 62-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
River Dell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pat Sweeny led the charge by scoring 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sweeny has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sean Golden, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for River Dell and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for Indian Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
