The Schlagle Stallions were the 66-51 winner over the Wyandotte Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Schlagle received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 71-54 to Wyandotte. Schlagle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Wyandotte to victory were Anthony Taylor and Kamari Murray. Taylor scored 18 points along with five assists, while Murray scored 27 points along with three steals. The match was Murray's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Johnathan Atty was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 12 rebounds.
Schlagle bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wyandotte, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.
Schlagle will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lincoln College Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday. Wyandotte will be home for the holidays to greet Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
