The Tolman Tigers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Pilgrim Patriots at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Tolman will be strutting in after a  victory while the Patriots will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Thursday, Tolman faced the Broncos in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Tolman claimed a resounding  65-34 win over the Broncos at home. Tolman has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 28  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tolman to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Daniel Saulsby, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.  Isiah Gois was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Pilgrim ended up a good deal behind the Saints on Thursday and lost  53-39. While losing is never fun, Pilgrim can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings  (they are ranked 29th, while the Saints are ranked fifth).
 Tolman's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Pilgrim, they have  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
 Tolman didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against the Patriots  in their previous matchup  back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a  59-54 victory. Does  Tolman have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
