On Monday Worth County will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to  challenge the Maryville Spoofhounds  at 5:00  p.m.
 Worth County might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  5-4 to Pattonsburg, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Maryville's way against St. Pius X on Thursday as Maryville made off with  an  11-4 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Spoofhounds.
  Emma Sprague was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up  four earned runs off   nine  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs and a  triple.
 In other batting news, Maryville got a big performance out of  Alyssa Cunningham, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Emma Aley, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Maryville was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Worth County dropped their record down to 6-6 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. As for Maryville, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-14 record  this season.
 Worth County skirted past Maryville  4-3 in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Worth County since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
