On Wednesday, Silverton came up short against Dallas and fell 8-4.
Maddalynn Ehrens was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Avery Wurdinger, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Lebanon made sure to put some runs up on the board against Crescent Valley on Wednesday. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Raiders 11-10.
Brystol Hockema spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 15 Ks. Those 15 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Tatum Cole was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Scarlett French was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one double.
Lebanon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Silverton's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Lebanon, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-10.
Lebanon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Silverton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353. It's a different story for Lebanon, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Silverton's hitters?
