IDEA Sports Park has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the IDEA Riverview Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. IDEA Sports Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Friday just wasn't the day for IDEA Sports Park's offense. They were the victim of a tough 5-0 defeat at the hands of Port Isabel on Friday.
Meanwhile, IDEA Riverview kept a clean sheet against Harmony School of Innovation on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. Two seems to be a good number for IDEA Riverview as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Juan Pablo Gutierrez and
Jose Ibarra, who scored both of IDEA Riverview's goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.
IDEA Sports Park dropped their record down to 0-3-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for IDEA Riverview, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
