Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Medina Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against St. Martin de Porres on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Addison Wolf made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Wolf was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eliza Kinney, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Lydia Young was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Medina Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Martin de Porres only posted an OBP of .467.

Lake Center Christian took their victory against Medina Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 20-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tiger since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
