After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Dirigo is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Mountain Valley Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lufkin also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles. Trevor Crosby was Lufkin's top target, picking up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Dirigo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in nine consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Mountain Valley never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Maranacook last Friday. They breezed by the Black Bears on the road to the tune of 42-6. The Falcons pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Black Bears had little chance of recovering from.
Adam Gammon was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 111 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mountain Valley's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Joshua Pollis with two.
The win got Dirigo back to even at 1-1. As for Mountain Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
