Nikole Bristol was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Calvary Chapel Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .757. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .529 that Warner Christian Academy posted.
Meanwhile, City of Life Christian Academy got the win against All Saints' Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 17-3.
The team relied heavily on Adelaide Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Duran, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Calvary Chapel Academy's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for City of Life Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Calvary Chapel Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .545. However, it's not like City of Life Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .543. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Calvary Chapel Academy skirted past City of Life Christian Academy 8-7 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024.
