North Augusta has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the A.C. Flora Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought game, but North Augusta had to settle for a 45-42 loss against Military Magnet Academy.
Meanwhile, A.C. Flora entered their tilt with West Florence with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. A.C. Flora breezed by West Florence on the road to the tune of 63-15. With A.C. Flora ahead 48-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.
A.C. Flora's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Terriana Gray led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The match was Gray's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Skylar McCray, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals.
North Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for A.C. Flora, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Everything went North Augusta's way against A.C. Flora when the teams last played back in February of 2020 as North Augusta made off with a 52-30 victory. Will North Augusta repeat their success, or does A.C. Flora have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
