The McDonough Warhawks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Hampton for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-34 victory on the road. Considering McDonough has won three matches by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Nigel Thomas, who scored 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Gray, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
McDonough's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Hampton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
McDonough is on the road again on Friday and play against Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Hampton, they will face off against Northeast at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northeast is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
