The Carolina Friends Quakers suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Cresset Christian Academy by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cresset Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mario Jarett out in front who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jarett has scored all season. Branson Green was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Carolina Friends' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9. As for Cresset Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Friends will play host again and welcome Woods Charter, where tip off is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cresset Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cape Fear Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Cape Fear Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
