Holly Springs had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they came up short against Byhalia, falling 12-26. If Holly Springs were hoping for some payback for the 0-21 loss against Byhalia the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Holly Springs off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Byhalia a 1-0 record.
Next week, Holly Springs take on Mantachie at 7:00 PM. As for Byhalia, they will face of against Coahoma County.
