Knightstown has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Irvington Preparatory Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against Irvington Preparatory Academy  at 5:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Irvington Preparatory Academy will be up against a hot Knightstown  squad: the  team just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers put the hurt on North Decatur with a sharp  17-7 victory on Monday.

 Kelton Weaver was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  run. Those  four  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jackson Daves, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Knightstown  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Decatur only posted  an  OBP of  .400.
Meanwhile, Irvington Preparatory Academy got the win against Liberty Christian  on Monday by a conclusive  15-4. The  win was nothing new for Irvington Preparatory Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Matthew Brooks made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Brooks was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Pollock was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. He is  on a roll when it comes to  RBI, as he's  now  brought in three or more in each of the last four games he's  played.  Cortez Jenkins was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  runs.
 Irvington Preparatory Academy's victory was  their 12th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Knightstown, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Tuesday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Knightstown has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .497. However, it's not like Irvington Preparatory Academy struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .491. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Knightstown's way against Irvington Preparatory Academy when the teams last played  back in May of 2024, as Knightstown made off with  a  13-3 win. Do  the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Irvington Preparatory Academy turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
