Despite the defeat, Rosemead saw an underclassman step up: Rhys Anderson scored 23 points. That was a full 56.1% of Rosemead's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Mojica, who scored nine points.
Arroyo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Rosemead, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
