Nemaha Central won the last time they faced Jefferson West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunder had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

Nemaha Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Macy Holthaus paced Nemaha Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Holthaus got some help from Brooklyn Uphaus and her 13 assists. Meg Honeyman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory got Nemaha Central back to even at 3-3. As for Jefferson West, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Nemaha Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Sabetha on the 4th. As for Jefferson West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Seaman on the 4th.
