Bon Homme took the match and then some with a 50-12 victory over Deuel on Thursday. Followers of Bon Homme probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Despite the loss, Deuel saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Carter Hoffman rushed for 135 yards and 1 touchdown. That makes it nine straight good games in a row from Hoffman.
The win (their 7th in a row) raised Bon Homme's record to 8-1. The defeat dropped Deuel's record to 5-4.
