Meanwhile, Southern Wake Academy made easy work of North Edgecombe on Friday and carried off a 59-35 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.
Triangle Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Southern Wake Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
