While losing is never fun, Fort Bend Dulles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 685th, while Fort Bend Hightower is ranked 55th).
Despite the loss, Fort Bend Dulles still got an impressive performance from Nevaeh White, who scored seven points. White continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Fort Bend Dulles has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing George Ranch the next time they take the court. Fort Bend Hightower will head out to face George Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Fort Bend Dulles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
