The Bullock County Hornets had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Charles Henderson out 75-72. The victory was just what Bullock County needed coming off of a 68-39 loss in their prior game.
Trevone Palmer was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Anthony Simpson, who scored 22 points.
Bullock County's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Charles Henderson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bullock County will take on Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charles Henderson will be home for the holidays to greet Bullock County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
