After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wetumpka, North Sand Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Valley Head Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Bison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

North Sand Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Valley Head is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Sand Mountain will face off against Pisgah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Head, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Geraldine at 4:30 p.m. on April 1. Geraldine's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Valley Head's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
