Vasquez is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past The Palmdale Aerospace Academy to the tune of 88-39 on Saturday. The Mustangs pushed the score to 83-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Griffins cut but never quite recovered from.

Vasquez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Rowley, who went 9-for-15 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and four steals. With that strong performance, Rowley is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Daeron Bankett, who shot 73% from the field to rack up 17 points and seven assists.
Vasquez smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 7 offensive boards per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 13.4.
Palmdale Academy Charter School hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They took down Lancaster Baptist 58-40 on Thursday.

Lanier dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Culver went 6-for-11 en route to 17 points along with five assists and five boards. Those five assists gave Culver a new career-high. Kevin Pliego was another key player, putting up ten points.
Vasquez's record now sits at 8-4. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-6.
Monday's matchup is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Vasquez just can't miss this season, having drained 47.7% of their field goals per game.
