The Mechanicville Red Raiders got the win against the Johnstown Sir Bills on Thursday by a conclusive 8-2. Considering the Red Raiders have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mechanicville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Johnstown, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

As of now, neither Mechanicville nor the Sir Bills have any future games scheduled.
