There's no place like home for the Cullman Christian Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over Meek on Monday. For Cullman Christian, this counts as revenge for the 53-15 loss Meek walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Meek saw an underclassman step up: Aleah Addison scored 21 points. Addison scored a full 41.2% of Meek's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Cullman Christian pushed their record up to 6-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Meek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Cullman Christian will head out on the road to face off against Coosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meek, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sumiton Christian at 5:30 p.m. Sumiton Christian and Meek are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
