A Season-Best Performance from James Neville Leads Westside over Pike County
Westside was led to victory by James Neville, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Neville rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 93 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Westside's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. Neville and Westside will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Pike County had to settle for second on Friday, but Bryce Sammons sure wasn't going down easily. Sammons turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 33 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 121 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Sammons has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 126.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
