Quantico hasn't had much luck against Front Royal HomeSchool recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will welcome the Flames at 5:00 p.m. Front Royal HomeSchool took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Quantico, who comes in off a win.
Quantico took a 14-run defeat the last time they faced off against Seton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Conquistadors 7-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Gunner Wolfenbarker, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Quantico's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't). Jamison Graves was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Quantico was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Front Royal HomeSchool came up short against Southern Maryland Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 9-4.
Front Royal HomeSchool saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooks Reuwer, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Front Royal HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Quantico, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Quantico has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Front Royal HomeSchool struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
