Even though the Hartley Tigers scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, the Pringle-Morse Cougars still came out on top. Pringle-Morse walked away with a 66-56 victory over Hartley. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pringle-Morse.
Despite the loss, Hartley still got an impressive performance from Angel Castro, who scored 23 points along with three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Pyle, who scored eight points.
Pringle-Morse is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Hartley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pringle-Morse will square off against Texline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Texline will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Hartley, they will head out on the road to challenge Adrian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
