The Creede Miners's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Lake City Community, posting a 52-24 victory at home. Creede's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jaxson Fazio was on fire: he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Roden, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Creede's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Lake City Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
