It was a good run, but Rudder unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the A&M Consolidated Tigers. The Rangers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Rudder saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Isom, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Jose Ponce, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

Rudder's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-2. As for A&M Consolidated, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

While Rudder had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
