Wabasha-Kellogg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ileana DeAngel, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That was a full 48.5% of Wabasha-Kellogg's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Adams, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Wabasha-Kellogg bumped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their 20th straight on the road. As for Fillmore Central, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.
