Elliott Murphy Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Powhatan got the W thanks in part to Elliott Murphy playing the best football he has all season. Murphy rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.

Linwood Johnson was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to six on Friday. Manchester had no answer to Johnson as he rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes.
On the season, Johnson has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 151.7 passing yards per game.

Dk Chapman Jr. Goes Supernova in Midlothian Win
Dk Chapman Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win was the fifth in a row for Midlothian, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Chapman Jr. and Midlothian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Powhatan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
