Jake Frechette Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Peru got the W thanks in part to Jake Frechette playing the best football he has all season. Frechette rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes.
The win was the fourth in a row for Peru, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Frechette's next game is against Plattsburgh on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Wyatt Bridges posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He is becoming a predictor of Peru's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Bridges is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Plattsburgh on Friday. Bridges rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hornets duked it out back in September.
