Jacob Braden gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Monday. He did his part (and then some), pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits for the 'W'. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because King's Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-12 otherwise.

Braden's effort led King's Academy over Concord Christian and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
