Volleyball Recap: Hartsville Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Eliza Privette and Ava Wilcox

It was a good run, but Hartsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Fort Dorchester Patriots.

Ava Wilcox and Eliza Privette certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wilcox had seven digs and two aces, while Privette had two aces. Privette has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Annamarie Picciano was the offensive standout of the game as she had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Hartsville's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Fort Dorchester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Hartsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stratford on the 30th. As for Fort Dorchester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Colleton Prep Academy on the 30th.
