The Pembroke Dragons will stay at home for another week and welcome the Frewsburg Bears at 5:00 p.m. on November 10th. Pembroke knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Frewsburg likes a good challenge.
Pembroke stacked a tenth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-30 win over Bolivar-Richburg. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Pembroke had established a 33 point advantage.
Tyson Totten was his usual excellent self, rushing for 393 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. Totten really tore up the turf during one magnificent 94-yard run. Another player making a difference was Caleb Felski, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Frewsburg walked away with it. They had just enough and edged Allegany-Limestone out 50-48. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Pembroke pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.91 points. As for Frewsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Pembroke against Frewsburg in their previous meeting back in September as the team secured a 49-16 victory. Does Pembroke have another victory up their sleeve, or will Frewsburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
