Campolindo extended the longest winning streak in Diablo Foothill this week by beating Dougherty Valley, 35-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
The Wildcats moved up to 805 from 834 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Dougherty Valley was able to make move up by falling to Campolindo 35-14.
Las Lomas's Adam Wood and Robby Ow have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wood has thrown for 296 yards this season, while Ow, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has nine catches for 192 yards. Ondre Rudolph from Dublin leads the league in rushing with 189 yards.
A big matchup in Diablo Foothill this week will be when the Gaels take on Kevin Macy's team. Dublin is currently in fourth, while the Cougars are in first.
Nick Tisa's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,140 from 11,565. The improvement came about via a 35-14 victory over the Wildcats last week.
