The Fayette County Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Whitewater by a score of 78-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Fayette County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian McAllister, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. That's the first time this season that McAllister posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Gillespie, who scored 22 points.
Fayette County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Whitewater, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

As for Whitewater, they will head out on the road to square off against LaGrange at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
