Wellington is 9-1 against Jupiter since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolverines will face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wellington comes in on four and Jupiter on six.
Wellington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Leonard as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Wolverines have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Yanaira Andrade was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

In other pitching news, Cameron Vickers looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Wellington got a big performance out of Catalina Baronci, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Sam Ellis, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Wellington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matchups.
Jupiter played against Palm Beach Central on Monday and won via forfeit.
Wellington's record now sits at 15-5. As for Jupiter, their record is now 18-3.
Wellington came out on top in a nail-biter against Jupiter in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
