Glenbard South won the last time they faced Elgin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders blew past the Maroons 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Glenbard South's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Elgin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Glenbard South didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-13 defeat against Fenton on the 9th. As for Elgin, they will square off against Round Lake at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.31 runs per game on average), something the Maroons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
