The Hume-Fogg Blue Knights entered their tilt with the Lawson Lightning with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Hume-Fogg walked away with a 60-51 win over Lawson on Friday. Given Hume-Fogg's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Lawson is ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hume-Fogg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miles Rucker, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rucker has scored all season. Michael Nwoye was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Hume-Fogg is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Lawson, their loss dropped their record down to 11-17.
Hume-Fogg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lawson also has no future games currently scheduled.
