Softball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Bethel's Third in Last Four Outings

While Bethel's win against Hampton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bruins' pitchers stepped up to hand the Crabbers a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on Tuesday.

Bethel has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hampton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

As of now, neither Bethel nor the Crabbers have any future games scheduled.
