Pine hadn't done well against Amite recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Pine Raiders breezed by the Amite Warriors to the tune of 76-44. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Amite still got an impressive performance from Curtissiyah Jenkins, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 54.5% of Amite's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Alexcia Moore was another key player, putting up nine points.

Pine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Amite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.
