Heartland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Esther Archibald, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The contest was Archibald's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Elizabeth Archibald was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Outreach Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Heartland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing El Dorado Christian the next time they take the court. Heartland will host El Dorado Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Outreach Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
