Meanwhile, Berkeley Springs lost to the Indians on the road by a decisive 50-35 margin on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Berkeley Springs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 93rd in West Virginia, while the Indians are ranked 335th in Pennsylvania).
Mountain View Christian Academy's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-5. As for Berkeley Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Things could have been worse for Mountain View Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-24 loss to the Indians when the teams last played back in January of 2020.
