It was another big night for Hailey Horstmann, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Neligh-Oakdale's points. jayce gadeken was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Wausa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Neligh-Oakdale, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
Wausa beat Neligh-Oakdale 49-37 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wausa since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
