This season hasn't been kind to the Albemarle School Colts, who are still winless after their 15th contest. They were the victim of a rough 71-46 loss at the hands of Eastern Christian HomeSchool on Thursday. Albemarle School has not had much luck with Eastern Christian HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Albemarle School saw an underclassman step up: Brayden Lowry scored 15 points. Lowry continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Javonte Borg, who scored 12 points.
Albemarle School bumped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albemarle School will take on Lawrence Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastern Christian HomeSchool won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Greenville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Greenville Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
