The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pequea Valley, who took down 489th ranked Northern Lebanon, 26-20. Nicholas Roop in the win.
Mitch Martin and Ben Swarr provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Eastern Lebanon County. The longest such play in Lancaster-Lebanon 3 this season, the connection resulted in 61 yards.
Garden Spot's dynamic duo of Martin and Tim Stoltzfus proved tough for the Raiders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Martin threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns and Stoltzfus had 83 yards receiving. Swarr helped Garden Spot's passing attack out by catching three balls for 83 yards.
Dylan Maxwell was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 208 yards as Donegal bested Eastern Lebanon County. Kris Trimby also contributed to the rushing game with 55 yards on the ground.
AUSTIN FISCHER made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Braves beat the Vikings. The 5-foot-5 freshman forced one fumble and recorded two fumbles.
5-foot-11 quarterback Martin of Garden Spot is the league leader in passing yards this season with 606. He has also thrown seven touchdowns. On the ground, Robert Miller's team's Cameron Strause has rushed for 653 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adam Shoemaker. The Eastern Lebanon County star has six catches for 231 yards.
A big matchup in Lancaster-Lebanon 3 this week will be when the Indians take on the Raiders. As it stands, Donegal is in second, while Eastern Lebanon County is in fourth.
Jeff Polites's team moved up to 175 from 214 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 60-8 win over Columbia helped the Indians improve their standing.
