The Havre de Grace Warriors had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against Aberdeen by a score of 39-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Havre de Grace also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Havre de Grace's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but SaBree Knox led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Azareya Whiting, who scored four points along with five assists and three steals.
Havre de Grace's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Aberdeen, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Havre de Grace will head out on the road to challenge Severna Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
