It was another big night for Jeremiah Parker, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Parker is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jacob Dallas was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 22 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Denver South by a score of 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Vista PEAK Prep has suffered yet this season.
Denver West's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
Denver West took a serious blow against Vista PEAK Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 78-30. Thankfully for Denver West, Gabe Britton (who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
